Neal O’Doherty, the Founder and President of Bookkeepers in a Box, Inc., has spent his career studying and implementing back office accounting systems. His early work experience took him to Lincoln Savings Bank where he worked with Ross Perot’s Electronic Data Systems, converting the bank’s computer systems to new platforms. He next moved to Columbia University where he automated the property management system (6000 tenants in 120 buildings) and other core functions within the Treasurer’s Office. Other projects include The Federal Reserve, the Tisch family accountants, Controller for a major NYC contractor, fund accounting for Memorial Sloan Kettering, Citistorage, Paul Hendel Products (18 unit McDonalds) and many more.
A lifelong resident of Long Island, he currently resides in Great River, New York with his family.
Today, Neal has applied his network, energy and knowledge to the healthcare industry. Neal has grown his Medical Consulting Services practice by serving healthcare organizations, doctors and practices throughout the Metropolitan Area and Long Island.
Neal has served the healthcare community by providing specific services that target the effective, consistent and compliant practice management needs of his clients.
